An innocent trip to the sweetshop during a break from classes ended with two students being chased like hell for leather through the streets by a gang armed with sticks, stones and a meat cleaver.

After failing to catch the sprinting sweet-toothed duo, the gang of 10 set about destroying a bike they had left behind. Police arrived and managed to arrest three of the thugs while the other seven made their escape. Police suspect revenge was the motive. NOKORWAT
