A cook and his girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint early on Tuesday in Phnom Penh, police said. As the man was giving his girlfriend a ride home, six men appeared on three motorbikes and began to follow them.

The victim tried to go faster, but the pursuers caught up, blocked his way and pulled out a gun, ordering him to get off the bike or be shot. The sextet escaped with the moto and the couple ran to a nearby police station. KOH SANTEPHEAP
