Two marketplace marauders were apprehended by police in Kampong Chhnang yesterday after repeatedly robbing a vendor.

The hapless owner filed a complaint, prompting a police investigation that led them to the duo.

Apparently they were planning on building a kitchen, because police found hundreds of litres of cooking oil and construction metal stashed among the stolen goods.

The thieves confessed and committed to paying the owner back in full to avoid doing time.
