Dadaist discussion leads to whack-an-artist

Usually sculptors are known for crafting beautiful faces in stone, but one in Phnom Penh’s Chbar Ampov district tried messing up a colleague’s face during a row on Tuesday.

Police said the artists were drinking when an argument broke out. Their manager tried to intervene but the suspect grabbed a bamboo stick and whacked his rival.

He passed out and was taken to hospital while police were summoned to cuff his quick-tempered co-worker.
