Daredevil thief crashes

A high-speed attempted robbery left the would-be robber in hospital on Monday after his effort to steal a motorbike went bottoms up.

Police said that the moto-riding suspect pulled up alongside the victim on a Poipet road, threatening him with a gun to pull over.

The victim, clearly an adrenaline junkie, instead sped up, coaxing the thief to join him. The suspect however, lost control of his motorbike, and crashed into another motorbike.

He was left with serious injuries, and to add insult to injury, police later found that his gun was a fake. Koh Santepheap
