Dastardly duo detained after snatching a bag

Police called time on a bag-snatching double act in Kandal’s Takhmao town on Friday.

The duo’s final victim was riding her moto into Phnom Penh when they began tailing her to size up their prey.

They then pounced, making off with the 24-year-old’s bag. But their escape was cut off, for the woman shouted for help, alerting local police.

The police confiscated the moto, returned the bag, and are preparing to send the pair to court.
