A dinner gathering ended with a man being beaten by a violent quartet in Banteay Meanchey province’s Poipet district on Sunday night. Police said the victim, 27, and his friend were casually dining and drinking with four others, when a heated argument broke out.

The four proceeded to slam their target to the ground, kicking him and beating him with a wooden stick. The police were called, and the four bolted. Police are investigating the case. KOH SANTEPHEAP
