Justice bit back at a Kampong Speu man who was arrested yesterday for poisoning dogs in Kandal province’s Ang Snuol district.

Neighbours say they saw two men with sacks feeding tainted food to a pair of pooches that belonged to a 57-year-old villager.

The bystanders intervened by chasing down the men, apprehending one.

When authorities arrived they found the pair of canines dead in the nearby woods and hauled the cruel culprit to the station for legal action.
