Dozing driver sets new record for road lunacy

A heavily inebriated man proved you don’t necessarily need to be awake, just behind the wheel, to compete in Phnom Penh’s favourite demolition derby substitute.

Our hero was soundly snoring when he crashed into a series of road dividers along a stretch of road in the capital’s Boeung Salang commune on Saturday, somehow maintaining his state of deep slumber.

While the unconscious man suffered no injuries, the same can’t be said for the road dividers.
