Drinking session devolves into very one-sided duel

Alcohol doesn’t always bring out the best in a person, and it seemed to turn a Pailin province man into an angry swashbuckler when he turned on his friend on Sunday.

Imbibing together in O’Tavao commune, the men got into heated words until one pulled out a sword to attack his bud.

Luckily a neighbour calmed the chaos, and saw the axed amigo off to hospital while arriving authorities hauled the sloshed slasher away for questioning.
