Drug bust puts a stop to couple’s wedding plans

Two young lovers will see their wedding postponed for the immediate future after both were nailed in a drug bust on Tuesday.

Police in Kampong Thom’s Steng Sen district said that the 16-year-old girl and her 18-year-old beau had been engaged just three days before they were busted at a local market with a 36-year-old compatriot.

Between the three, police found 14 bags of drugs. All will be sent to court.
