Drugged dessert puts man out for moto theft

A 25-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in Phnom Penh’s Tuol kork district for stealing a motorbike from one of his Facebook friends in real life. Police said the student, 36, made dinner arrangements with the suspect for last Wednesday.

After the meal, the man bought some desserts. The student fell into a deep sleep afterward and woke up at a local clinic. His dinner companion had dosed his sweets with sedative drugs. The victim then realised that his bike had been stolen. He filed a police report, and officers picked the man up on Wednesday. Koh Santepheap
