Duo detained after double-dip burglary

Greed got the best of a pair of burglars in Banteay Meachey this week. Police said the duo broke in to a Poipet town home on Tuesday while the owners were away on holiday.

They successfully made off with a TV, laptop and other household treasures. Not content, they went back the next day.

The fresh break-in coincided with the return of the home’s owners. The duo ended up cowering in a back room until discovered and subsequently arrested. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
