Escape plans evaporate along with moto’s petrol

A brutal moto-jacking in Poipet left a man hospitalised and his bungling attackers arrested, after they ran out of gas while attempting to get away from chasing cops.

The pair had seized the victim’s bike after pulling alongside him on their own motorbike as he sped along, smashing him around the head with a bat.

As the man lay stricken and bleeding, one of the attackers jumped onto his bike and the pair sped off – all under the gaze of nearby traffic cops, who immediately gave chase and caught them when their tanks hit empty.
