Ex-con to see his ‘pen’ pals again after theft

The vicious cycle of recidivism saw yet another ex-con fall back into old habits in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district on Saturday.

Police said the convicted thief allegedly stole the motorcycle of a security guard at Sorya Mall on Friday night and, after a day-long investigation, was found by police.

The man reportedly confessed to pawning the bike, saying that his inability to find work had driven him back into a life of crime. NOKORWAT
