Fake gun taken off real would-be factory thieves

Cops in Kampong Speu province’s Samrong Tong district foiled an attempted break in at a garment factory on Saturday, after a security guard saw thieves entering the property.

The trio – two men aged 35 and 31, and a woman aged 22 – reportedly arrived in a car and broke the lock to enter the building, which had been closed for months but reportedly still housed valuable goods.

Cops recovered a toy gun from the suspects, who confessed they’d tried to break in on several occasions previously. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
