Fake number plate no match for sharp cop

In a more successful intervention, a cop’s expert eye resulted in a man being charged with motorbike theft by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Monday.

Police said a patrolman in Por Sen Chey district spotted a fake number plate on a passing bike and gave chase, stopping the driver.

Cops found a set of tools for hotwiring motos, and the suspect reportedly confessed to having stolen multiple motos this year.

He was sent to court and charged, but not before giving up the identities of his two lookouts. Koh Santepheap
