Revenge was a dish best served at dinner time, with a machete, in the capital’s Meanchey district on Saturday.

A local military official had just sat down to a meal with his family when a drunken man with the blade came seeking revenge, apparently over a previous quarrel.

Luckily, the official managed to escape unscathed, and when authorities were called they quickly caught the 35-year-old aggressor and hauled him away for pre-trial detention.
