Alcoholic and habitually unemployed, a man was nevertheless shocked to discover his wife had no interest in his booze-soaked advances on Tuesday.

Police said the man had returned home after yet another night of binge drinking, when he asked his wife for sex.

Refusing, she went to sleep at a neighbour’s home, leaving the man to stew until he reached for the gas can and lighter.

Concerned neighbours jumped in to try to extinguish the flames, but the fire ultimately spread and damaged several homes. The culprit was arrested on the spot. NOKORWAT
