Seven motodops were forced to fold in a hurry on Monday as police raided their friendly card game in Kratie town.

The seven men were allegedly gambling – technically illegal for Cambodians in the Kingdom – under a tree when the light they had slung over a low branch gave them away.

Police patrolling in the area pounced and hauled the lot into the station where they were threatened with losing their motos, and therefore livelihood, before they agreed to pledge to give up their card shark ways.
