Guest helps himself a little much during visit

One man in Svay Rieng’s Kampong Ro district is likely contemplating his penchant for hospitality, after he invited his neighbour inside his home only to be robbed of 2 million riel.

On Wednesday, the victim insisted that his neighbour, 30, come in for a visit.

When the homeowner left to go check on his infant, the suspect spotted a fat wad of cash on the table, pocketed it and bounced.

The victim noticed his stack missing and promptly informed police, who arrested the suspect. The thief confessed.
