A home invasion left a man badly injured in Banteay Meanchey’s Preah Netr Preah district on Friday, after three intruders held a husband and wife at gunpoint.

The trio reportedly burst in with an AK-47 and tied up the couple living in the house.

When the pair refused to reveal where their valuables were stashed, the attackers clubbed the husband.

The men made off with jewellery, mobile phones and cash on the couple’s two motorbikes.

Police investigations remain ongoing.
