Helmetless speeder badly injures self, vendor

A tiny side street in the capital’s Por Sen Chey district hosted a violent traffic accident.

Police said a 48-year-old man on a moto was speeding in a bid to pass another when he crashed headlong into a female food vendor, 20, on the side of the street.

Both received critical head injuries — the man was wearing no helmet — and are now in hospital. NOKORWAT
