A family outing to a concert turned into a manhunt after a young woman stole jewellery from a little girl on Saturday night.

The suspect was at the outdoor concert in Por Sen Chey district when she took a liking to a child’s necklace.

Thinking it would be as easy as taking candy from a baby, she snatched the necklace and took flight while the child’s mother raised the alarm.

Springing to action, her father gave chase, recovering his daughter’s necklace and delivering the suspect to police.
