Highwaymen mess with the wrong prahok seller

The tables were turned after a vendor was ambushed and unexpectedly one-upped his attackers in Kampong Speu’s Oral district on Saturday.

A young man, 18, was selling prahok from one village to another on a motorcycle when two men, 21 and 22, blocked his way at a remote spot, police said.

With a machete, they allegedly ordered the vendor to surrender his moto and earnings. The vendor instead attacked them, sustaining injuries in the process, and escaped on the moto. Police arrested the suspects on the same day. Koh Santepheap
