History comes back to bite quarrelling couple

Two long-since reconciled friends were presumably shocked to discover they were being arrested for a two-year-old quarrel in Kandal yesterday.

The now-amicable pair had a violent spat two years ago, but reunited after being successfully restrained by intervening neighbours.

One of the friends hadn’t quite let go though, and filed a complaint to police.

He never followed up on the petty police report, and his former foe wasn’t even aware of it, but both were hauled in by police for failing to obey court summonses.
