Hit-and-run lorry driver sends two to hospital

Two’s company, but three was obviously a crowd, prompting a Kampong Speu province truck driver to flee after crashing into a bike carrying two others on Saturday.

Witnesses say the lorry smashed into the motorists at an intersection in Veal Pong commune before the guy behind the wheel hit the road on foot.

Officers arrived soon to send the injured riders to hospital and impound the vehicle of the scene-skipping shipper.
