Industrious cops nab duo near power plant

Two people were arrested late on Sunday night in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district for drug dealing.

Police conducting a late-night patrol near a power station came across the suspects – a 34-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman – acting suspiciously and so decided to submit them to a brief search.

Sure enough, the duo were found in possession of a quantity of suspicious powder and a set of scales.

The search complete, police sent the suspects to the Meanchey district police station and confiscated their moto.
