Ink-inspired revenge a blot on town’s reputation

Sala Krao district police in Pailin province are searching for two men who assaulted a farmer on Sunday night.

Police said the farmer, 17, and his buddy, 18, were attacked by two masked assailants when riding a moto home from a party.

The bandits attacked the farmer with a cleaver and beat him with a stick, causing severe injuries to his head, stomach and arms; he was rushed to the hospital.

Allegedly, the farmer recently returned from Thailand with some “offensive” tattoos, which some suspect motivated the attack.
