A tourist’s temper can reach supernatural proportions, as one man demonstrated when he destroyed a shrine in Kampong Chhnang after a cop gave him the wrong directions.

Asking the way to Pursat province but hindered by a language barrier, the tourist was pointed to a tourist port.

Returning to the empty police office in a bid to clear up the misunderstanding, our inflamed foreigner took his anger out on the nearby monument.

Police were in a forgiving mood when they returned to the ruined shrine and called in a translator to send the man on his way.
