Kratie man refuses to let sleeping bums lie

A Kratie town man is in court after badly beating a homeless person for having the gall to sleep in front of his house on Monday.

Police said the victim was known in the area for sleeping in local backyards, a practice that locals tolerated.

When he decided to bed down in front of one local’s house, however, the man wasn’t feeling so charitable. He ordered the man to move, and upon being rebuffed, attacked the vagrant with a bottle.

Patrolling police saw the altercation, arrested the attacker and sent him to court. Deum Ampil
