Monday night ended on a decidedly down note for a Kratie town karaoke hostess and her motodop.

Police said the woman had finished her shift at the local KTV and was getting a ride home when three suspects pulled along either side of them and produced a gun.

With no choice, the motodop and songstress stopped and relinquished everything they had between them, including her jewellery and cash, his moto and both their phones.

They subsequently filed a complaint with police.
