A little birdie warns a cockfighting ring of cops

The only suspect detained by Battambang provincial police after a cockfighting crackdown already comes with his own holding cell.

News made it through the grapevine of a gambling ring operating out of Sangke district. Cops went to make the bust on Sunday, netting only a rooster and 10 motorbikes after all the bettors fled.

All the evidence was brought to the station where the provincial governor called for anyone involved to come sign an agreement to cease illegal gambling operations.
