Local boozehound gets a beating from teens

A chronic boozer known for keeping the neighbourhood awake found a less-than-receptive audience on Tuesday.

After getting drunk at a bar in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district, the 30-year-old walked home, nosily yelling through his street.

The man ran straight into a group of young toughs who decided they’d heard enough and beat him unconscious.

The man’s relatives filed a complaint with police, claiming the disruptive drinker might’ve caused insomnia but never meant any trouble. NOKORWAT
