Local cops nab thieving quintet in Por Sen Chey

Five men ended up behind bars on Sunday after police rounded up a haul of thieves in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district. Two of the group were trying the ol’ snatch-and-grab with a woman’s necklace when they were caught.

Both victims were riding their motos home in the separate incidents. The other three thieves were caught while trying to steal motorbikes, also in separate cases. Hopefully the district’s residents will now sleep safer. Either way, whoever is in charge at the local police station might be in line for a promotion. DEUM AMPIL
