A jealous man recruited an accomplice to rough up his rival for the love of the same woman in Kratie town on Wednesday night.

Police say the 29-year-old victim was assaulted at his doorstep, resulting in serious injury to his head.

A neighbour who witnessed the scene alerted police, who arrived too late to intervene.

The neighbour, familiar with the now-hospitalised victim’s personal life, identified the suspect for authorities, who have put out a reward for his arrest.
