A Preah Sihanouk pooch got the equivalent of a death-row pardon on Monday when police swooped down on a market in the province’s Commune 4 and nabbed a drug addict, just as he was attempting to sell the mutt for meat.
Police said the man, 21, was broke and desperate to score when he decided to swipe the dog and make for the market. Thankfully, quick-acting cops spared man’s best friend from the stew pot. KOH SANTEPHEAP
