Man drops argument, but pair sticks with it

A trip to a local pagoda to celebrate Khmer New Year went awry for a young villager in Kampong Speu’s Phnom Sruoch district on Thursday, after the 20-year-old man was attacked with sticks by a pair of men he had argued with at the event.

When the victim attempted to get away from the conflict, the pair apparently blocked off the road before dishing out the beating. Cops caught up with and detained the men on Saturday after receiving a complaint from the victim’s family. NOKORWAT
