The driver of a RX300 Lexus took an unexpected swim when he pulled up alongside National Road 4 in Por Sen Chey district for a rest and found his parking spot was in fact the crumbling bank of a filthy drainage ditch.

When he tried to reverse out of his precarious position, the bank collapsed underneath him, sending driver and vehicle tumbling into the soup.

Police impounded the car but later returned it to the owner. Luckily the only injury he sustained was to his pride and his wallet.
