Talk about being in the red. A 29-year-old man was attacked by two former friends who slashed his head with a machete for failing to pay back a $250 loan in Banteay Meanchey’s Sisophon town on Sunday.

The man had tried to jumpstart his small business with the loan to no avail and was late on his payment by a few months. He was hospitalised and police are on the lookout for his attackers. KOH SANTEPHEAP
