Man takes out jealousy on flirter look-a-like

A man let the green-eyed monster take hold in Phnom Penh yesterday, with dramatic consequences.

While on a moto with his sister, he spied what he thought was a familiar face.

He asked the man to stop, suggested his sister skedaddle and then lunged at the man with a rock, accusing him of flirting with his wife.

Police arrived and defused the situation. The victim asked for an apology rather than filing a complaint, and also said he did not know his attacker or his wife.
