Meth-head puts axe to his own intervention

A family intervention went awry after a drug addict pulled an axe on his brother-in-law over the weekend.

The 20-year-old drank wine and smoked methamphetamine with his friends in Kandal’s Sa’ang district on Friday.

The man became irascible, picking a fight with everyone in the house, demanding more money for more drugs.

The man’s brother-in-law intervened only to find an axe embedded in his back.

Neighbours rushed the victim to the hospital and police arrested the junkie. Kampuchea Thmey
