No room at the inn for poisoning pincher

A man desperate for some new wheels employed the ol’ pesticide-in-the-juice trick on Monday, poisoning a Siem Reap guesthouse owner in a quest to rob him of his car, phone and money.

The 22-year-old slipped his victim a Mickey on Friday night, leaving the unsuspecting man unconscious.

His quest to shoot through with the riches was foiled, however, by the victim’s employees – who went straight to the military police for intervention.

The suspect was soon arrested and a gun confiscated from him. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
