A not-so-great train robbery in Battambang

A tourist''s trip went awry on Wednesday when a man on a moto travelling along the railway in Battambang province snatched her bag while she was riding the rails.

The handbag, which was stolen by one of the two people on the bike, contained $22, 2,600 baht and an iPhone, police said.

Later that day, police arrested a 19-year-old suspect, but did not find any of the tourist’s belongings on him.

Cops are questioning the suspect, and are looking for a partner in crime.
