Oddar Meanchey card game folds after police raid

Police netted an entire school of Oddar Meanchey province card sharks in a gambling crackdown in Anlong Veng commune on Friday.

Getting reports that card games were disrupting village life in all kinds of ways, they went to the house where the hands were being dealt and arrested 15 women and three men.

Everyone was brought to the station and “educated” on the dangers of their habit, then sent home to find a more legal way to have fun.
