One man’s attempts to liven up a celebration weren’t exactly appreciated by the birthday boy and led to a scrap early this week in Pursat province.

The suspect and two friends set off fireworks near the party venue, leading the host to come at them with fists.

The trio left their host with a serious blow to the head instead of a gift and fled.

Returning to the area on Wednesday, however, the lead pyromaniac was hauled to police headquarters.
