Two pairs of gangsters came to blows on a public street when their heated argument started to boil over in Phnom Penh’s 7 Makara district on Monday. The ruffians’ war of words had already devolved into a battle of fists when police intervened to split them up. Their brief bout had left other road users afraid. Trio of two-bit burglars have one destination: jail
Three burglars knew their thieving ways were over when police arrested them in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district on Sunday. A few days earlier, the ne’er-do-wells had broken into a house when its owner was not at home. Little did they know, they had botched the operation. Arrest easy as taking a necklace from a toddler
He stretched his hand out to snatch a necklace off a three-year-old girl, and now the police have taken his freedom from him. The first half of this exchange occurred in a market in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district on Sunday when the 22-year-old man in question set his sights on the young girl’s jewellery. Deal over for trafficker who mistimed his exit
A drug tout in Phnom Penh’s Kandal district was about to leave his house to sell his wares on Sunday when he was busted by the police. Officers raided the 26-year-old’s rental house and found two packets of drugs. Other suspects managed to escape. Man flees after slicing, dicing in failed robbery
A 32-year-old motodop was hacked thrice with an axe in an attempted theft of his motorbike in Kandal province on Sunday. The victim was waiting for guests at a quiet locale when he was attacked by an axe-wielding assailant. Police soon intervened, but the suspect managed to escape.
