Eight bags of drugs were enough to land eight alleged pill peddlers in prison as Military Police pursued leads in two separate meth cases in Phnom Penh over the weekend.

The first saw officers swoop in and startle five men enjoying a sleepy Sunday in Prek Phnov district, while in the second case, gendarmes netted three suspects during a raid.

In total, officers confiscated eight bags of meth, while all eight suspects faced questioning yesterday at Phnom Penh Municipal Court.
