A disturbed intruder broke into a female casino worker’s room and injured her left hand in Poipet yesterday.

The woman screamed for help and the neighbours came running, dogpiling the attacker and beating him savagely before turning him over to the police.

When the suspect was brought to the police station, he kept banging his head against the wall. Police concluded that the attacker was mentally ill and released him.
