Pregnant girl puts up a fight with purse thieves

A pair of pitiless purse snatchers targeted a pregnant woman coming home from the market in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district yesterday.

The three-month-pregnant victim was on a motorbike when the two men pulled up alongside her.

It took both grown men to dispossess the feisty woman of her purse, and the woman’s hand was injured in the struggle.

The men sped off with the bag containing a phone and $90 in cold hard cash, and are still at large.
